Empowering Communities Globally

We will be retuning to the beautiful island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas in June 2026! It will be Face in Water's fifth year in a row, supporting the One Eleuthera Foundation's summer learn-to-swim program. Last year, we began offering pop-up swim lessons at different beaches in the central part of the island, which we will continue this year. We are also turning our focus to breaking the generational cycle of fear around water on the island. We will be empowering the incredible women of the island with confidence and skills to navigate the water safely and enjoy their beautiful surroundings.

We prepare for months with zoom calls to the One Eleuthera team, supply-gathering, and fundraising. Face in Water has been so fortunate to receive some incredible, generous donations to help support this project! Individuals send donations and well wishes, and companies jump on board to offer support. Sun Bum supplies us with our favorite sunscreen and Original Watermen sends rashguards, hats, t-shirts, and stickers. The masks and snorkels were so popular that we brought both children and adult sets for the locals this past summer. We even have a snorkeling ambassador there to help the locals enjoy their gorgeous backyard. We can’t wait to return this year!
